Integral Securities Market Information System (SIMEV in Spanish)
The Integral Securities Market Information System (SIMEV in Spanish) is the set of human, technical and management resources administered by the Superintendence of Finance of Colombia to allow and facilitate the provision of information to the market.
In accordance with the provisions of paragraph 3 of article 7 of Law 964 of 2005, the veracity of the information contained in the SIMEV, as well as the effects produced as a consequence of its disclosure shall be the exclusive responsibility of those who supply it to the system.
In accordance with the provisions of article 5.2.4.1.1 of Decree 2555 of 2010, the issuers of securities must keep the RNVE permanently updated by submitting to the Superintendence of Finance of Colombia the periodic and relevant information referred to in articles 5.2.4.1.2, 5.2.4.1.3. and 5.2.4.1.5. of the same Decree, which shall also be sent to the trading systems in which such securities are traded, when applicable, within the same terms established for sending to the Superintendence of Finance of Colombia.
According to the provisions of article 5.2.4.1.8 of said Decree, the legal representative of the issuer, or the management agent in securitization processes shall be responsible for the provision of such information.
In turn, and in accordance with the provisions of the first paragraph of art. 5.1.1.1.3 and 5.3.3.1.2 of Decree 2555 of 2010 and numeral 3, Chapter II, Title V, Part III of the Basic Legal Circular of the Superintendence of Finance of Colombia (C.E 029 of 2014), the agents that are registered in the National Registry of Securities Market Agents - RNAMV shall be responsible for the permanent update of the information they report to such registry.
Finally, and in accordance with sub numeral 2.2 of Chapter III, Title V, Part III of the same Circular, the person to whom the professional registered in the National Registry of Securities Market Professionals is linked, or the natural person who carries out brokerage operations, is responsible for updating the information contained in said registry, in the terms indicated in said regulation.
