The purpose of the National Registry of Securities and Issuers (RNVE in Spanish) is to register the classes and types of securities, as well as their issuers and the issues they make.

Registration in this registry is a requirement for those entities that wish to make a public offering of their securities or have them traded in a trading system.

The registration in the RNVE does not imply any qualification or responsibility on the part of the SFC, about the registered legal entities or about the price, the goodness or negotiability of the security or of the respective issue, or about the solvency of the issuer.
